Marching Band
The College Station High School Cougar Marching Band is the largest spirit organization at College Station High School. The 200+ member Cougar Band performs at all high school football games, pep rallies, and the annual Bryan/College Station Christmas Parade.
In addition, the Cougar Band participates in three to five marching contests per year. These contests are generally held throughout the month of October and the first week of November (on state years). Since its inaugural year in 2012, the Cougar Band has represented Region 8 at the UIL Area D Marching Contest (2012-2015) and the UIL Area E Marching Contest (2016-Present).
Wind Ensemble
Director: Eric Eaks
The top performing ensemble in the CSHS Band Program is the Wind Ensemble. The Wind Ensemble performs music at the highest degree of difficulty. Performances include the UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Contest, one or more invitational festivals, the annual Spring Concert at Wolf Pen Creek, and special events. A one-hour section rehearsal is scheduled weekly from January-May. In addition, extra rehearsals and clinics are occasionally scheduled during competition time. Students must participate in marching band in order to be eligible for placement in the Wind Ensemble.
Symphonic Band

The Symphonic Band is the second concert organization at CSHS. The Symphonic Band performs grade 4 and 5 literature. Performances include the UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Contest, the annual Spring Concert at Wolf Pen Creek, and occasional special events.
Concert Band
Director: Michael Dixon
The Concert Band is the third concert organization at CSHS. Students in the Concert Band participate in the UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Contest and the annual Spring Concert at Wolf Pen Creek in May.
Jazz Ensembles
Director: Jon Seale
The College Station High School Band Program comprises of two Jazz Ensembles: Jazz Ensemble 1 and Jazz Ensemble 2. The Jazz Ensembles are becoming one of the most popular musical organizations at CSHS. Membership is through competitive audition.
The Jazz Ensembles performs numerous concerts each year and also performs in two or three competitive festivals each year.
